Are there any Knickerbockers in that c1840's daguerreotype?

Are there any Knickerbockers in that c1840’s daguerreotype? Was Hal Chase connected to the wrinkled fruit that keeps us regular? Is that really Rube Oldring on page 618 of Deadball Stars of the American League?
