E220 American Caramel vs E120, E121 etc
 

How much rarer are E220 National Caramels compared to it's E120, E121, E122 etc American Caramel counterparts?

Do they truly command a premium comparatively? For instance have any of you noticed a significant difference in what a Ruth, Cobb, or Hornsby would go for among the 1920's caramel sets?

Just for clarification, the National Caramel cards (E220) are a different brand than the American Caramels (E120, E121 etc).
I don't know about pricing for sure, but the E220's seem to be seen far less often than their "American" counterparts and likely carry a small premium.

Many of the cards share the same pose, which doesn't help with the confusion. I crossed over this Hooper below which was incorrectly listed by PSA as a E121 American Caramel.
The Pennock I included because I just got it back from SGC and kinda like it:D

BTW...That's a GREAT Babe Ruth E220, and I'll bet that one would demand a nice bump from the American brand!

Actually those Ruth's are not mine. I just put them in the post to make the comparison a little more colorful.

This Hornsby is mine however and as you can see PSA has made the mistake you just mentioned more than once. I've always meant to cross it over to SGC. I likely will sometime soon.

The E220s are much harder to find and they also vary in their size much more than the other sets.

My experience is that E122s are considerably harder to find than E120s, E121s, and/or E220s. The SGC pop reports confirm this.

Agreed. That is a prime reason why I don't collect them.
