W. F. Miller Pinbacks - Value?

Today, the owner of a local antique shop showed me 3 W. F. Miller pins. I think they are designated as PD1 and were made around 1896.
Are these pins common or rare? What is the approx value?
Thanks.

Can you please post a picture?

John,
A picture would be great. I have never heard of W F miller pins from that era.
First real pin set from that era would be the cameo pepsins from 1894-1898. Can you also provide a dimension (size) of the pin? If you do get a picture please show the back of the pin also. Thanks

Hi John,

They are called 'position' pins and are fairly common.

Here's an RE Edwards auction - the position pins that I think you are talking about are at the bottom of the first picture (catcher and batter). I also heard they were from the late 1890's and have owned a few myself, but RE Edward is saying 1910. They normally don't go for that much, so I'm guessing the more detailed pins at the top are what ran this particular auction up so high:

Thanks for posting the REA link, Scott.
I saw the pins without the advertising.
