I would say that that is the wrong photo. That is not Montana to Clark.
That looks more like Alabama vs. Tennessee. |
Thanks Phil. You are correct... have that piece as well...

As the resident art historian, I'll note for browsers' information that the above listed size and numbering is correct for the authentic signed Neiman print. And I got the info from Neiman's publisher/agent.
Posted only as I thought it might be of positive help for potential buyer and seller. |
very confusing
What, exactly, is this supposed to depict? Niemann's "concept" of Montana to Clark? Certainly not "The Catch" as the positions are all wrong for that. And it looks like he's throwing to #82, not Clark's #87. And it looks like they're playing the Bengals, and "Clark" (go with me on this) is in the end zone but he did not score in the 1982 Super Bowl against the Bengals, nor in 1985 when they played them in the regular season. It could be John Taylor at #82 and if so, actually have a basis in fact because Taylor caught the winning TD in the 1988 Super Bowl. And if that's Jerry Rice alongside him at #80, that would be close to accurate. But Clark wasn't on that team.
