Does anyone know anything about D304s? I found someone trying to sell d304s. I have NO idea how to spot a fake on these. Anyways, here is what the person posted as the pics. <a href="http://s1269.photobucket.com/albums/jj593/tank_1989/?action=view¤t=e9374551.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1269.photobucket.com/albums/jj593/tank_1989/e9374551.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a> <a href="http://s1269.photobucket.com/albums/jj593/tank_1989/?action=view¤t=94767d86.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1269.photobucket.com/albums/jj593/tank_1989/94767d86.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a> |

They look like reprints to me but I'm not an expert. My lone card from the set. http://s107.photobucket.com/albums/m...ams/bender.jpg |

It looks too good to be true. I emailed him, but haven't received a response yet. He said that he found it in an antique desk....that doesn't happen every day. (nuns auctioning off a honus wagner doesn't happen everyday either :) ) They have to be fake, your back looks so much different than the ones he has up. |

Are these the same cards that were talked about in threads started on 2/16 by lharri3600 and 12/07 by ribbens? Use the search function and read those threads and see if these cards have anything to do with the cards in those threads. David |

Unreal. I just searched the post, and turns out its the same Craigslist scam. The funny thing is the guy said his name was "Alex Rodriguez" Don't know if I am more mad he is pushing fake cards on me OR that I just got excited for a few hours thinking my 1952 Topps set would finally be complete :) Moral of the story: don't use Craigslist to find baseball cards. |
