One lot of 3 original 1970s-2000 fashion photographs. All photos are rare to unique-- I haven't seen other examples of these photos anywhere.

1970s 35mm color slide of female model in sand by legendary photographer Joel Brodsky. From his Brooklyn studio and stamp dated. The deceased Brodsky was one of the most famous rock n roll photographers, shooting album covers for The Beatles, The Doors, Rod Stewart, etc, though this slide illustrates hid did fashion as well. Sharp and clear and bright image, better than shown (photographing slides isn't the easiest thing). This was like Brodsky's negative.

2000 Vogue magazine 11x14 inches cibachrome photo of model Tasha Tilberg in Manhattan. Obtained directly from a Vogue archivist. The scarce, expensive cibachrome process is one of the highest end (and my favorite) color processes, used for museums and art projects. The image is off center but radiant and beautiful. The in person image is perfect, and the buyer will know why cibachrome is my favorite process-- as in of any process in the history of photography. I often call the cibachrome images as being 'beyond crystal clear.'

c. 1990 11x14 color photograph by prominent Italian photographer Gianpietro Favero. The color is a bid faded, but overall sharp and interesting shot. Light wear and soiling. I obtained this directly from Stanley Yawlkowsky, a New York lawyer and one the most prominent 'old time' art photography collectors. Much of Yawlkowsky's collection has been sold via Sotheby's and Sotheby's said he had one of the best Daguerreotype collections in the world. A Sotheby's press release describing Yawlkowy's collection is included. The Brodsky slide also came from him.
