Cobb Decal Bats
 

If this has already been discussed, my apologies.

I have found examples of 1911-16 Cobb decal bats with labels "Has led the American League (five,six,seven) years with this model", allowing dating of the bats to 1913,1914 or 1915. The 1913 bats have the large 'O.' at the end of 'CO', as opposed to the 'Co' on the 1914 and 1915 labels. All of the 'Georgia Peach' decal examples I could find (which were used both pre and post-1916) have the small 'o' - that and the fact that they were used after 1916 make me think they were introduced toward the end of the 1911-16 range.

Does anyone have examples of labels with earlier 'led league' years? If such bats also showed the large 'O', it could provide circumstantial evidence for more precise dating of large 'O' bats with the 1911-16 label, to 1911-13.

What if I wrapped a Derek Jeter game-worn jersey around one of these, and added a Babe Ruth signature?
