This is probably my "sharpest corner" card. It even looks better than all my SGC 70s???

Does PSA Ding for a card miscut from factory ? I have seen many Vg-Ex condition T206's that look worse than this "2" example. 2 Razor sharp corners and 2 solid corners, clean back, snow white borders... This card also has bright registration for a Type 1 Coupon.

in the raw
I took these from the envelope they came in. The other 4 sets of these cards account for most of the high grade Cobbs in the hobby. I acquired 5 envelopes from the family of a man that worked at the Rogers Peet factory. They were found in his dresser drawer after he passed away....I got the others graded and sold them...they ranged in grades from 84-92 I believe...The Chase Tango Eggs isn't chopped liver either.....

Nice cards all.
Jeremy, never seen corners that nice on a type 1 coupon before, very nice. Here's two of my best as far as corners go. http://photos.imageevent.com/mhgt/ho...0Cap%20350.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/mhgt/ho...TTT%20T204.jpg |

^^^ good stuff, all! [ *back-pat* *back-pat* ;) ]
the Peckinpaugh has surface wear on the lower right which kept it in a lower grade, and made it affordable. The Baker is in a PSA 6 holder, I believe. Admittedly, I had to do some searching through the scans to find sharp corners in my collection. :o |

The Chase Tango Eggs isn't chopped liver either.....
http://luckeycards.com/pfunctangochase.jpg[/QUOTE] Leon - That Chase Tango is way undergraded! It should at least get a bump or two higher !! (Seriously, that is one of the best looking T cards I have ever seen, especially for a Tango... The back is sublime. :) |
Unless you can slice pepperoni with your card; it's not that sharp.:)

Tony,
I checked out your cards just the other day on your website...stunning cards! Very sharp and beautiful! When this thread got started, I thought of yours and was hoping you would share...thanks! Love that WoJo Mike |
E93s!
Sorry about the size. I can't figure out how to reduce the size of the scans.

Wow Jim, I would try to make them bigger if I were you. :)

Here's All I have scans up for just now. The Bescher is by far the best looking of the bunch. It's got a nearly invisible bend by one corner. Marshall has a paper inclusion, and Smith just one slightly touched corner. I'm still not sure what they didn't like about Conroy.

JimB, you're E93's never fail to amaze. Those cards should not exist in that condition.
Tony, Steve, & Clayton -- if you guys pooled your resources, you could create one of the best mid-grade T206 sets on the planet. Great stuff! Here's a couple N28's which were kept in an album for years and have the typical back damage associated with such storage. These cards are actually quite rugged and resilient, as they have good quality, thick card stock. |
Thanks guys.
Tony, Amazing T206s! Jeff, Love the Lajoie and Matty! JimB |
