OT - Anybody else having trouble logging in to their ebay account right now?
 

Anybody else having trouble getting into their ebay account currently?

Don't know if ebay is having an issue right now or if my account has been hijacked.

Must be an ebay problem. They do not recognize my id or password. Keeps telling me my password is incorrect. Its been the same for 14 years so pretty sure I didn't forget it.

same...probably hacked. some great deals right now on auctions ending

There is a note up on eBay now that they are having "technical difficulties" and that some people may not be able to log on.

They are aware of it.

Yes, I cannot log in. I tried to call them and after waiting 20 minutes my call just got "dropped"

Funny thing is, I have a second Ebay acct that I never use and it is accessible. I just got hold of Ebay and they said it will be 3-4 hours before it is fixed.

I just got in. Maybe it's fixed.

Luckily mine's fine. Some of the auction pages won't respond though..

I just tried again to no avail.

I closed out and got back in a second time. I guess my deluxe membership package is paying off.:)

Great....nothing like having one of your auctions closing soon and nobody can access. They'll probably get it up and running just in time to have all of the sniping software screwed up.

I guess I'm going to lose all my sales tonight.

I am stunned that Ebay doesn't have a Transparent Rollover System (TRS). A TRS is an exact clone of the system that is running, and if the primary system is having serious issues, it rolls over to the secondary system without any interruption of service.

I made that recommendation to Ebay years ago and I guess they didn't think they needed it.

I wonder if the infamous "Anonymous" hacker group is harvesting our personal info right now.

If it's a security issue, they better let us know immediately so we can take the necessary steps to protect ourselves.

Im doubting snipes will still work. If someone needs anything desperately let me know.

Looks like ebay has resolved the issues.

Looks like the e-bay problems are back. Twice within five days, if I were a seller I would be none too happy......... I'm only a bidder and I'm none too happy..........
