Ohh Dear God... T206 Wagner Polar Bear Back

Gotta love the reprint that has a probably another reprint of a Polar Bear back cut out and glued to the reverse side above the Piedmont factory number (probably because the polar bear back had "Reprint" printed right below it). lol. The description is priceless if you read it first before looking as the photos.

Sorry if this is a repost.

Well, hell! If it smells old...there ya go!

sandmountainslim 01-27-2012 05:34 AM

Is it even worth pointing out the total fraud nature of this card to the seller? SURELY no one will bid on it!

Blitzu 01-27-2012 05:48 AM

I sent him a question titled, "Really?" followed by the message, " a rebacked reprint with a reprint, classic!". Not sure if he's going to respond.

So anyone think this is the Canadian long lost cousin of Cobb and Edwards?:D

vintagetoppsguy 01-27-2012 06:45 AM

Never trust a guy with 7 spelling mistakes in the description:

1. diffren't
2. alterd
3. purposley
4. guidline
5. closley
6. thaught
7. Possilbe

(I didn't even include the grammatical errors.)

iwantitiwinit 01-27-2012 07:10 AM

I'm not even going to read the description because i think I can write it myself: I am not a card dealer nor am I framliar with the collectibles mkt and therefore cannot gaurantee the authenticity of this card, however,.....

Guy should be put in jail.

dstraate 01-27-2012 07:50 AM

Uhh, I have some information on this variation, but I don't think you'd love to hear from me.

Ronnie73 01-27-2012 09:17 AM

I always buy all my vintage cards based on smell. :D

rjackson44 01-27-2012 09:19 AM

it never ends:confused:

tbob 01-27-2012 09:40 AM

The original Canadian Wagner, apparently the reprint business has spread north of the border....

I prefer his method of "feel.". Nothing gives me more confidence in the authenticity of my vintage million dollar cards then rubbing my oily fingers into them.

Did you see what this same idiot is doing now!!!!
Check out this auction

If you want a good laugh, read some of the descriptions of his other auctions.

He's selling a oil painting which is very "sod after" and "is more pricelss then just a dollar sighn $$$$"

He's also selling an 8 track cassette and says, "Great for cruising around in your wheels with your sweet a$$ 8 track player you have installed"

LMAO at his descriptions.

MikeGarcia 01-29-2012 08:23 AM

Watch your back , laughing boy....

One of them there 8-tracks just happens to be a Dolly Parton...you don't want them people mad at you....

lol. I saw that "mystery lot" and was just shaking my head, but I didn't bother to put two and two together.

That deserves another Ohh Dear God

sycks22 01-29-2012 09:01 PM

I love the fact that he won't tell you who you're getting. Nothing like a $1,500 mystery bag. Classic

Runscott 01-29-2012 09:12 PM

As long as he's having fun. Worst case is he loses about 75 cents per auction in listing fees, and entertains himself.

Blitzu 02-02-2012 07:15 PM

And he's back...

I would say this is dead on!

There is a very nice "Compliments of the Season" stamp online and a similar cigar box, total price for both $200. If I can figure out how to duplicate that rare red dot I'll be rich.
