Who can produce the most "well loved" T206 card?

The lower half would take home the title if located.

TRUE! I bought this half from a guy in Canada...so the real winner may be in the Frozen North ;)

I've got it beat(perhaps a couple of times). Just gotta get into the collection and get some pictures taken tomorrow.

Yeah, I second the vote for that card and concede defeat. I WOULD pick it up though if the price was right.

Great centering on that Beckley...and how could the Young get a 1 for corners but only a .5 for surface? Would think corners would rate .75 at best!!! :cool:

I may have a winner here for you boys...I got this card for free... it came to me in about 15 pieces.. I had to try and figure out which pieces went where.. did my best ...and taped it back together.. :D

Nothing special in comparison to some of the luminaries in the thread, but this one is a three tool player...creased, soaked in something ungodly, and trimmed to boot.

The best thing is that the Cy Young was actually an UPGRADE for me when I first got it. Thanks to all for the admiration :)

I suggest you lay Cy's top half over your Minneapolis Young and then you will have a more complete and unique Cy Young card.

Funny story Brian,
I had a top half of a LaPorte from my first "find" of these beauties that had lined the perimeter of a trunk lid for the past century. About a year later, I bought another trunk lid from a completely different collection and, sure enough, there was a bottom half of a LaPorte. With a little careful trimming, I reassembled the card quite nicely.

It now resides in a PSA 8 holder.

Just kidding...it only got a 6.

Here's the worst of my worst. The Ganzel however can't be removed from it's toploader since the toploader is all that's holding it together. It's actually two pieces and the majority of what's left of the front has come off and is in 7-10 pieces(I can't remember how many exactly).. And just for shits and giggles, I included photos of my T3 Joss..

So far, I'd give my vote to Robert for that Bergen..

Pulp from a single ground-up T206 card. Used to experiment with rebuilding corners and replacing card stock.
