First day at Basic and still smiling?.. Outstanding!

My older brother went to boot at Fort Polk, Louisiana in '72. When he came home from leave the first thing he told me was to join the Navy.

You should be very proud of him and tell him we are very proud of him too!

My 2 boys served as well, Jeremy w/ the Marines and Corey w/ the Army Airborne.
Jeremy had 2 tours of Afghanistan in the infantry & Corey was a machine gunner in Iraq.

Jimmy, please tell your son Thank You for allowing us all to sleep safe at night. If it wasn't for these brave Men and Women of our military, we would not be able to have many of the things we take for granted...like freedom.

My dad, uncles, father in law, brother in law and even my wife have served our country and now my daughter is serving in the Air Force! I understand the pride you have!!
