I think this item would make a great companion piece for the "lucky winner" who picked up the 1942 Homestead Grays team photo from last month's Huggins & Scott Auction:

I emailed the seller and they guaranteed it to be original. I didn't bid....

I thought so though I was tempted.
I am sure they would have refunded my money but returns just aren't that fun..

One of the things that stands out to me is the lack of clarity in the writing on the photo. Especially the corner photographers mark. Typically these are crystal clear and very legible. The blurriness of it gives it an air of reprint to me. One of those "I don't know what it is but I don't like it" types of things.
