Help please with this Mickey Mantle sig
 

I'm hoping to recruit the Mickey Mantle autograph specialists in the group.

My friend Mike Cohen collects signed dollar bills of HOF players. Unfortunately he has already been burned on a Mantle and Joe D. signed bill that I posted about 1-2 months ago.

He is still looking to add the Mick. What do you folks think about this Mantle signed bill?

Looks very good to me as well. If it's a fake, it is better than 99% of those out there...

It's a beautiful Mickey signature. Note how he avoids the signature infringing on Mr Hamilton's image too;)

The capital M's are what made me think Good right away. Beautiful, and you don't see the pressure changing or skips, etc either.

hmm. It's awfully close to this signature which is considered fake. Mantle's are tough.

not only is it considered fake...it is a fake.:D

The 2 look nothing alike. Please look again. ESPECIALLY the "Ma" interaction.

Also look where the fake was signed. Mantle would never sign that particular photo in that spot, IMHO.

From what I've learned reading this board the up flick on the M in Mantle is a good sign. I don't see that flick on the magazine. But I do see it on the dollar bill.
