Donloading Vintage Photos: Available Archives?

I have really enjoyed looking through the Charles Conlon archive of late. Inspiring. I was wondering if there are any free online archives of vintage baseball photography.

Some of these images might be publicly available? Or, for example, I believe during the New Deal the government paid photographers to work and then owned those images for free distribution. Eg, you can get a number of iconic Walker Evans photos through (perhaps) Library of Congress.

Working on a rusty memory here so I could be off base. If anyone is aware of such a source, please let me know. Thank you!

The library of congress' site has lots of downloadable high resolution images, including baseball.
