Color variation on t206 kid elberfeld (washington)
Hello to all- wanted some help on this because of the rarity of this card. I have 2 psa 6's that have a vivid red background, i recently purchased an sgc 84 in a major auction house and the color is orange..... Any thoughts or opinions about a value difference?

I have never seen the orange Elberfeld, Wash before, but I paid a lot for the orange-background Tinker I once had. One of my selling regrets. |
Thanks scott... Would still love to get opinons from the members

how orange is orange?? it makes a big difference in demand
here are 2 examples of orange portrait cards that should be red (scans I have saved, never owned the Cobb, the Tinker I sold off years ago) http://centuryoldcards.com/images/t206cobborange.jpg http://centuryoldcards.com/images/orangetinker.jpg |
Frank- it is not as vivid an orange as the 2 examples you scanned, but there is definitely a significant difference in the color versus the normal red background. I have tried to post scans before on net54, but i have adobe reader and can't figure out how to post them on the thread. Any help would be tremendously appreciated.... Kevin
