Signed mets shirt - valuable?

1 Attachment(s)
I had a friend who asked me a question about autographs and value - her mom had her shirt signed by some old time Mets players on the last day of Shea Stadium. I understand it's not on a jersey, but is there a decent amount of value from the signatures? She isn't looking to sell just yet, just wanted to know what she was holding... I literally could not help, but figured some people here could! I believe it is autographed by:

Gary Carter
Tom Seaver
Tim Teufle
Wayne Garret
Bud Harrelson
Jim Mcandrews
Jerry Koosman

(i may have spelled a few wrong).

Kinda a cool piece, but better for the sentimental value. Its not a Mets Jersey, just as shirt?

Value prob not much. maybe like 25-35.00 IMO

I agree with Scott. Not much interest from other collectors I would suspect...

Thank you guys for the input!

I agree, once I saw that it was just a regular shirt it zapped the value away. I thought that maybe Seaver might make the price a little higher than $25-$35, but that seems reasonable. The sentimental value is great; having a bunch of players from your favorite team sign a shirt your wearing must have been incredible. I just hope she appreciates it for that, and not the monetary value.

Thanks again!

I collect Mets autograghs, I agree with posters above, because it's not on a mets jersey, it doesnt hold the same kind of value and/or demand is not there.

I would say you could get $50 the most...

still a nice piece:)
