So...the same Magie (see above) just ended again on ebay (same seller), but $2.5K cheaper. $5,600 seems like kind of a deal.

T206 Magie

link?

That is a good price depending on condition of course (which I don't remember). I don't see any card with your link though?

I had this on my watch list. I thought it was high for a 20? But It's also been a very looooooong time since I've watch one? How many are there? I've never really understood why this card demands so much $$$$$ They come up quite a bit (at least when I was really into T206s) I had a harder time finding an O'hara St. L but that was also 6 years ago..:(

thanks

Thanks Erick for the link. Without going back and looking at all prices, and the prices some 2s-4s have received lately, and taking into account the nice eye appeal, I don't think that was too high of a price at all. They aesthetics are nicer, to me, than some I have seen for sale....

The link was in my post - right below what I typed. Tiny link. What? You want to be able to find it easily?

I think that erased mark on the front might have put some people off.

Scott- I am going blind. I just missed your 2 word link. I usually use longer links but it is there in your post, no doubt. I had only clicked on the one in the quote you had done in your post and that one didn't bring it up.
Also, I agree, the erased mark on the front kept the price down. But overall that is a nice looking card. I would rather have that one with the erased mark than some I have seen with heavy creasing in the middle of the card. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
