Good detective work on this one by all involved. I knew there were a lot of these jerseys and bats out there but I just assumed he was just using one a game, or home run, as he went.

I know that there were also a ton of McGwire "game used" 1998 bats around. My take was that they were in fact ordered by McGwire but most had very little use. You could see that his gamers were very used. Turns out he had ordered more than 200 that year. Giving away many as gifts without game use. They may have been batting practice used though.
