Cobb-as-giant postcard was discussed, right?
1 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to wrap up a post for my blog about the Hubel Ty Cobb postcard.
I recall that card being discussed on the forum, and at least one other Tiger named as being in the same set. Was I hallucinating? Attachment 48781 |
I don't recall that discussion.
|
Jeff showed one in the February pickup thread and many folks were suitably awed.
It's post #15. http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...401#post868401 |
Great postcard!
Anyone know where I can get one? :) |
Walmart?
|
more than one
I was surprised to hear there was more than one known, if I recall correctly.
|
I don't recall where I left my keys this morning, much less previous threads, but that is clearly the coolest Cobb postcard ever.
|
I've seen a raw Cobb as well as another player (whose name I forget) in this pose.

That's Jeff P.'s. Jeff, open up!
|
I think that is Jeff's (bicem) site.
|
I'm pretty sure a Willett exists as well. If memory serves me correctly, it was being offered by a dealer at the National in Cleveland (2009).
|
Jeffs,
Those are the coolest! JimB |
Thanks, everybody
That's the information I was looking for.

"Go Go Cobbzilla!"
