A Los Angeles Area Card Show Next Weekend
 

This next show is going to be AWESOME! Here are the details:

Glendale Civic Auditorium
1401 N. Verdugo Road
Glendale, CA 91208

October 28-30, 2011

Friday 2-8
Saturday 10-6
Sunday 10-4

This one looks to be a lot bigger and stronger than the last show this promoter had, which is great for us locals since the last show was pretty good. In particular there are several out of town companies and dealers coming in this time. PSA will be there, a couple of auction houses too. I am setting up across from Mark Macrae and next to Ryan Christoff [Cubanbaseballcards.com]. For further information, have a look at the show's web site:

This will be a fine show, well run and advertised, with many national dealers in attendance

I will be set up next to Paul Stark of Starxcards and Bob Givens (the promoter) of Diamond Star Sports Cards, and across from MEMORY LANE...I will have my usual assortment of high end vintage baseball cards, both graded and ungraded, encompassing the years 1908-1969...I hope to meet and see some of you who have bought from me off of ebay (vintagescards) or at a previous National.....thank you...Bruce Perry

Anyone know if SGC will be there?

They weren't on the list of attendees last time I looked. PSA is close to here so no surprise they will be coming. SGC, not so much. Maybe if it gets a good draw this go around they will be willing to show for the next one.

Picked this up today from Mark Macrae at the Glendale show. A souvenir booklet from 1915. 8.5 x 11. Great lithography and fits in with my new focus of only buying things I've never seen before. 32 pictures in all.

A nice show. Fun to see some old and new friends.
