My fault for not reading the rules concerning closing time, but I never got an email that I was outbid. Fairly upset, especially since I was willing to go much higher on the lot. Live and learn I suppose.

I was thinking they were in my spam, but I never got any either. Some decent deals on there.

I registered for the auction just this evening. I noticed that there was a checkbox on the registration form that you had to specifically "check" if you wanted to receive outbid notices. It was left empty by default so if you missed that box when you initially signed up, that's probably why you didnt get any notices when you were outbid on things. I'd think you should be able to access your profile and select that option for future auctions however...

each auction lot closes sequentially every 20 seconds, eliminating any extended bidding period, as well as the requisite "initial" bid...

I won 4 lots that more than happy with for my T205 set plus some cubs cards

As of yet, I have not participated in one of Dave's auctions but like everything that I am hearing.

I saw Leon post and registered yesterday and was happy to win 2 lots, I like the way each lot closes one after the other. The two lots I was bidding on were closed before 11pm cst )

I like that format better than the 10 minute forever one.

It's nice to know that you've actually won an item before waking up the next morning.

Yeap. It can get posted on the B/S/T that much quicker.

it seems to me that if you're buying something & immediately offering it for sale at a profit
you're much more of an investor than you are a rentor...
just sayin'...
