Hi ... I was wondering if anyone could help me ID the Stadium in this photo. It came from California,so I think it might have been a PCL Stadium, but that's just a guess.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks .... Ed (edtiques)

Now that's a spectacular image...although I can't identify it.

I love that image. I'm going to guess that it's not a baseball stadium at all - maybe a racetrack that they happened to set up for a baseball field.

That shadow image of a circle with four protruding points might give a clue.

Bull fighting ring? Maybe some place in Mexico coverted for an exhibition of American gringhos?

Aye Carumba!! Good detective work gentlemen.I would have never guessed that it was a converted bull fighting ring.
Thank you for your help,I certainly do appreciate it.

Not a lot of variation in the civilian dress. Look at that line-up in the crowd, I have dibs on the white suit concession.

I appreciate you posting this 'mystery' photo - this thread was a perfect example of how to properly research a photo like this. Instead of seeing baseball players and trying to prove it was a baseball stadium (which would have taken literally forever, since it is not a baseball stadium), we instead realized that it does not look like a baseball stadium and instead, TRIED TO IDENTIFY WHAT IT ACTUALLY IS. Throw out wishful and hopeful thinking, and properly research the problem.

Reality is not that bad of an end result.
