Jackie Robinson H&B Bat help
Gents,
Picked up an interesting bat at a flea market this morning... *Jackie Robinson *Hillerich & Bradley *Knob has "r17" etched in it, and has several layers of writing over it... "JK-XX", "4", "3"... INteresting part about the bat is that it has some ball marks (some light rack marks), but has a M.C.C. listed below the signature... I have come across other robinson models, but never one with the M.c.c.... Looking for a better understanding as to what I have & what it is worth... Thanks! Dave |
The MCC below his name is the school. More than likely a community college.
Still collectible, but not used by Jackie, unfortunately.. |

based off the photos provided, it looks to be a late 60's model. id say value wise maybe around $75 or so. could be a little less based of condition. could be a little more if you find the right person.
