Has anyone bought from this seller?

I hope I can ask this question here. I really want to start buying raw cards for my collection. Buying graded is killing my small budget. I see Battersbox has a lot of cards I'm interested in and just want to know if anyone has dealt with them. My worst fear in buying raw is the fakes, trimmed, recolor, etc cards that are out there. I saw someone posted a thread about "Best Ebay Sellers" and saw their name mentioned so thought I'd ask. I'm a vintage newbie so any and all help is appreciated. Thanks again.

I buy from Battersbox all the time. His name is Paul Sjolin and he's a really good guy. His cards are usually pretty accurately described. Sometimes you'll get one or two that fall a grade short, but other times you may get one or two that were even better than described. He is local to me and I see him at the shows a couple of times a year, but I also buy from him on eBay as well. He also ships quickly - the day payment is made and I always receive my cards the following day (but I am only 45 minutes away from him). Highly recommended!

Thanks for the info David. Think I'm going to buy a few from him to start and go from there. I will post when the cards arrive.

I've bought many cards from Battersbox. Many of their cards are off center
but if you are buying from E-Bay and not from their catalog you can see in advance what the centering is. Any card graded EX or better will not have creases but you need to ask before purchasing about any VGX or lesser because they don't note creases in their descriptions. There is usually a noticeable difference from a card they grade EX and one they grade EX+ and the cost is usually only a little bit more. Paul as David stated provides quick and friendly service.
