Need some helping reporting this guy...
I hit "Report Item" on eBay but it only gives me options that don't apply to this case (counterfeit, prohibited items, etc). BTW-In general what categorie(s) do you pick to report a scammer like this?
Link 1: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-TOPPS-W...ht_1695wt_1185 Link 2 (Stolen Scan/Ongoing Scam): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-TOPPS-W...#ht_500wt_1202 |
from the menus - Listing practices/fraudulent listing activities/you suspect the listing is fraudulent.
it would be nice is they had a place to write a bit of detail like stolen scan and the other auction number. Steve B |
What's up with all these scammers with the name "pimpin" in their user id? Here's another thread we discussed the other day about a scammer with the username "slimpimpin84."

Steve i don't know what menus you are talking about, the only link i know is "report an item" and from there it is impossible to report a card scammer, all the options available are irrelevant...

That's weird. I reported it by clicking on the report item link on the right side of the listing. That brought up a section with 3 pulldown menus. Selecting listing practices in the top one activated the second one etc.
Were you trying to report from somewhere else? That could be it. I can easily see Ebay having inconsistent features. Steve B |
I've found that the quickest way to get a listing like that removed is to email the (real) seller and inform them that someone is using their scan to create a bogus listing. Include the item number or a link to the auction for easy reference. For some reason eBay gets on it a lot quicker when it's the other seller making the noise rather then just some random person.
