Best McCovey card?
Looking to pick up a nice card of Stretch for my Giants Retired Numbers collection. What's your favorite?
63 and 65 are my two favorites of his!
The 61, 63, and 70 all have essentially the same pose and all are very nice.
1961
Big fan of the 1961...a sharp-focused, strong color example is one of my favorite cards.

much better "looking" card then his rookie from the ame set, plus its a high number:

I like the 1960 Jay Publishing
McCovey
Even though it is a bizarre picture, I like the 1960 card

Come on!! It's gotta be his cool 1972 card with his hand blurred as he tosses the ball. Love that card!!
I have to say that the1969 Topps Super is my favorite for sure.
Thats not McCovey. Thats Benjamin Buford Blue aka "Bubba" from Forrest Gump
yes
Its does actually look like that guy ! HAHA
Since I like the tough ones, I'll go with a '73 Topps Pin-Ups. Picked up a nice one in EX in a Clean Sweep auction a little while back.
Regards, guys, Larry |
73 Pin Up
...and it's better looking than the equally tough 73 Comic
What about the 1960 Topps card #316? I think that is my favorite McCovey card- I actually remember pulling one out of a pack in 1960!
