What service do you use to host your web-site?

Hi,

I currently have a web-site that is being hosted locally to me. I am sure that I am overpaying. So I am interested in anyone who has their own domain name (like www.baseballcards.com) and who do you use for hosting it and tell me how do you like the service.

Thanks.

Cy

I maintain about 30 websites. Some are through godaddy web hosting, which is OK but not great. Most are through fat cow. Their prices are reasonable, you can host multiple domains within one account with one cost. These are fairly simple accounts, no online sales, no credit card processing etc.

We use Planet located in Texas for the past 3 years and everything has been great.

www.weebly.com is free and has great templates for the newbies. You can host your own domain name for just a few bucks a month or use their free service.

I also use companies that advertise on eBay. I've been using one for 6 years now at a whopping $6/yr. But you have to do your own programming etc.

Go Daddy is reliable, but pricey. There are several options. Just depends on your experience, html ability and wallet.

Network Solutions. I've used them for multiple sites over the last 5 or 6 years with zero issues.

I have about 54 domains on NameCheap, and I host them all on BlueHost. I do know that Host Gator is also an excellent hosting service.

I've used earthlink for my email and web hosting for over a decade and have no complaints.

I started on Network Solutions but switched to godaddy a couple of years ago.
