2 Attachment(s)
These do not belong to me but a very good friend of mine who I haven't seen in a long time. He is a long time collector who enjoyed the hobby before 3rd party grading cancered it. It was great to hear from him! And very kind of him to allow me to share these gems with you. Enjoy the eye candy!

Great cards and thanks for sharing, Dan. I guess there goes my 1 of 1 :(. But on a positive note it (more of them) seems to make it more of a legitimate subset of backs too!!

Leon, it looks like you need to pick up a red back.

Here's a Guiheen card. Can someone show an Ison card?

Wow. Spectacular. Thanks, Dan.

Yessir. THanks for posting. Great to see them in their raw state.
|
I think old cardboard issue #23 has scans of them all if anyone has a copy.

:)
Didnt read any of the comments yet... I find it interesting that of the 1st group of 11 cards shown, there are 9 different backs, the only cards I see that have the exact same back are the Revelle and Shaughnessy, and both of the AWA cards ...... some of the other backs are close but not exact (ie 2 pinstripes compared to 1 stripe, and font) very interesting set, wish they were more common..... way out of my price range now :( |
Great stuff. I especially appreciate that there is a Titman and a Hooker in the lot.
|
Great cards
|
Dan, thanks for posting these, GREAT CARDS! I especially like seeing $30,000+ worth of cards in a plastic page! I love it!:D
