Hey guys,

Random question - does anyone know who owns the first contract Jackie Robinson signed with the Dodgers? I imagine this would be the famous one that we have all of the photographs of, with him and Rickey in late October, 1945.

I can't seem to locate it online, and don't know whether it's in Cooperstown, in private hands, or has never turned up.

Can anyone shed some light?

The guy that had amassed the largest Dodgers collection sold off many unbelieveable items in a major auction catalogue within the last year.

Jackie's contract was NOT part of this auction from what I recall, FWIW.
