Sharing collections...
One of my favorite things about this hobby and net54 in particular is seeing some of the great collections of other collectors. While my main interest is rather ordinary(t206 HOFers) I really enjoy looking and learning about all the different issues. I know this kind of thread is not very original and has been done countless times, but surely everyone enjoys looking at cards.
Here is a link to my collection http://imageevent.com/mhgt/hoft206 Lets see some more, be it one card or an entire collection. |
Great collection Mike!!
Love threads like this. It is great to see what everyone collects, and to share as well.

I get quite a bit of enjoyment out of having my website. My "For Sale" pages are outdated as I'm in the process of moving most of my non-essential stuff to ebay (kryvintage on ebay) but the pages that highlight my personal collection are at the bottom. I get quite a few people contacting me now as my website shows up fairly early in most Seach Engines when doing searches for some sets of cards.

Nice cards everybody. Mike, I love all the rare back HOFes.
I only scan my graded cards, not raw. Here are most, but I have more that I just haven't had time to scan. Pre-war collection: http://s185.photobucket.com/albums/x...e-War%20Cards/ Post-war collection: http://s185.photobucket.com/albums/x...20War%20Cards/ |
Check out my sig to see my collection, love the image event site!

My current focus seems to be scorecards, like this one from when Mantle had a pretty decent game on May 13, 1955...

I too enjoy seeing other peoples collections, but I would do it with caution. I have always been more than willing to sharing my collection with others until the last year when other collectors started using the information against me and have gotten annoyed with the number of people that contact you about selling my cards. I have have since put a bit of a safe guard on my pictures on the internet and don't divulge as much info on what exactly I am collecting and picking up.
I recommend if you are collecting something specific that you keep it to yourself and until your mission is accomplished. There are collectors out there that see thing find it cool and begin collecting and don't care who else collects them same. In the past year there is a group of us that have been working together to get the right cards in the right collections, they are the ones that you now are the true friends in the hobby. Lee |

Matt,
My signature is old since I have been after the Cycle 460 subset for about 8 years and got burned for sharing information and and my journey to get there. After it became aware that my needs list was being used as a want list I had friends in the hobby that either traded or sold me cards they owned so they would be in my collection. These are the type of gestures that are remembered for now and in the future and I thank them all. Lee |
Mine is in my sig as well - T207 & pre-war Pirates mostly. The former done thanks in large part to the generosity of board members; the latter on hold since marriage in April. May be back some day after things settle.

I started collecting again in 2006 because my wife told me I can decorate our new family room however I wanted. I decided on a MLB Player HOF theme after stumbling upon Hal Lewis' website.
www.danparadis.com Great thread! I love looking at other collectors collections. Rustywilly: I love your collection and website! |

My HOF "Rookie" Collection
Nice thread -
I just got around to scanning many of my remaining favorites (see below) after selling most of the 1950 - 1970 rookies (since they are so plentiful). Most of what I have left in my collection are the oddball "rookie" cards and a few really scarce items (E107's, Baguer's, Zeenuts, etc.). Keep in mind that many of these were believed to be rookie cards (per my research) - - that is, until I started reading the threads that Phil Garry has posted on this forum over the past few years... My collection has been hidden from others until today. Enjoy! http://ImageEvent.com/derekgranger |
Outstanding collection, Derek!!!

Sharing is caring
My HOF collection of SGC graded cards is linked in my signature.
I still have a few hundred that I will likely slab someday, but many of my favorites are there now (less my E105 Wagner or E210-2 Ruth whose day will come soon) The other sets I have slabbed can be followed from the SGC registry...T205, C46, E210 York, E95 and E96...notice that these are mostly lower grade beauties, high grade collectin' dudes may get a headache here... Sorry but no scans of my 14 set quest of 1971 Topps Football yet...that's just silly. |
