Signed HOF Postcards

My friend has started to collect the signed HOF plaque postcards and we were trying to figure out who was alive to sign these when they were issued. I know there are four versions or sets that date back to 1939. But does anyone have a list of the ones that are attainable autographed, or known to exist.

Thanks

Tom

I don't subscribe, but I believe the PSA SMR has this list.

Here's a couple of articles from PSA that will help get you started on when the cards were produced. Be warned though, just because someone was alive during a particular time does not mean they weren't too sick to sign. Case in point, most Red Faber signed Gold HOF Plaques are signed by his wife.

Try this also. Check to the right of the article and there are additional archive articles on each of the different types of postcards:

Yes, the SMR autograph guide has the Gold postcards listed, and then whether or not a player is available or known. However there are players that aren't available on the gold one's, but are probably available on the Sepia's, Artvues or Albertypes..

Anyways, I'm not looking for autographed versions, but where in the hell would you go about finding the original sepia's? I don't think I've ever seen one for sale, and I know there are a few people that I'd like to get the sepia of..

The sepia's are extremely rare and I believe only were issued for one year.
Many, many years ago I was offered some signed ones by the family of a man who was a security guard at the HOF.
They were actually authentic but I don't know what happened to them.
