Collect Auctions ends Thursday, August 11
 

Just a friendly reminder that bidding for Collect Auctions ends August 11th. The auction has a mix of vintage cards, autographs and other memorabilia so if you haven't had the chance to look at it yet, check it out (www.collectauctions.com).

Highlights include: Vending and wax boxes from all sports, including a lot of three unopened 1971 Topps Baseball vending boxes, with Series 2, 3 and 4; 1971-72 Topps Hockey vending; 1971-72 Topps Basketball vending; 1970 Topps Football Series I vending; 1973 Topps Baseball Series 4 Wax Box; and 1972 Topps Baseball Series 3 vending.

HOF Plaques: B&W - Clark Griffith, Larry Lajoie (twice signed), Rogers Hornsby (twice signed), Ed Walsh, Paul Waner, Pie Traynor, Fred Clarke and Bill McKechne. Yellow - Jimmie Foxx, Cal Hubbard, Dave Bancroft, Sam Crawford (twice signed) and many more.

Signed items: DiMaggio brothers signed baseball; Jim Thorpe signed photo, Babe Ruth signed 8x10; Humphrey Bogart signed 8x10; Hank Greenberg single-signed baseball; 1976 Yankees team-signed baseball graded PSA/DNA 7.5; 1949 Yankees team-signed baseball graded 7.5; Ruth signed World's Fair card; Lou Gehrig cut signature; JFK signed letter; Elvis Presely signed casino napkin; and a Millard Fillmore signed document.

There's a lot of other stuff, including some nice card sets, like a 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folders set, 1955 Topps Double Headers set, two 1954 Topps sets, 1955 Topps set, three 1956 Topps sets, a 1957 Topps set, etc.
