1960 Topps Flexichrome Colavito & Killebrew

Now that I've made my custom card, I'm selling this original 1960 Topps Flexichrome of Rocky Colavito and Harmon Killebrew.

I believe this was intended for use on a 1960 Topps multi-player feature card, but the card was scrapped when Colavito was traded from the Indians to the Tigers two days before the start of the '60 season.

The 5-1/8" x 4-1/8" painted picture has separated from the 7" x 6-1/4" cardboard backing sometime in the 25+ years I've owned this.

I love that flexichrome Bob -- I have one from 1959 used for a card saluting a great catch made by Colavito.
I'm not sure about the theory that the card was pulled because of Colavito's trade -- There is another 1960 card that shows him in an Indians uniform, posing with Tito Francona, and that card obviously was not pulled. Perhaps they just didn't want to have two "duo" cards featuring Colavito?
