I have For Sale (3) 1941 Play Ball RARE Paper Version Baseball Cards. They are Harry Danning, Max West. Backs are Clean. As cardboard became a commodity prior to WWII Play Ball experimented by issuing a version of the first 24 cards in the 1941 set on paper sheets of 12, comprising the color-printed layer of the regular cards and the backs. These paper versions understandably did not stand up to handling as well as the cardboard cards and survivors are much scarcer today. Asking $35.00 each Delivered.
