Bat help needed please
Does anyone have any info, or can you point me in the right direction, to find out what model bats that Joe Rudi, Dick Green and Bill North used with the Oakland A's in the early 70's chamionship years?
Thanks Mike |
many of the A's players used Adirondacks during the championship years, but you'll find evidence of all 3 of your players using louisville sluggers at some point during their careers. there are a couple of online resources to track things down, but they require a membership, and i'm not sure if they'll have the lesser-known players. http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/bats/

I believe GUU only has records of Hall of Fame players.

Hi Mike--- Between 1970 and 1976 Joe Rudi used the following H & B models: M110, R161, R161C, Mc44, D89, P103, C235, and B267. 34.5" and 35" were his most commonly used lengths, with weights between 32 and 35 ounces, with most orders leaning toward the heavier weight.
