just learning about these turkey reds, im fascinated by how gorgeous they are.

the ones with pinholes almost automatically knock the grade to a 1 no matter how nice the rest of the card is
is that a fair assumption?

Sounds about right to me. This one has no pinholes. Are you interested in buying?

You are absolutely correct. Any pinhole, no matter how small, knocks the card down to an automatic 1. I have some absolutely beautiful T3's that without the pinholes, would be easy 4's, but due to tiny pinholes in the gray border, they're graded a 1.
