Quick auction question

Am I missing something with this auction? I feel like this is a very very high price....

It's kind of a pyramid scam. A friend of mine wanted me to click through his link. I asked him why, I guess the percentage offered is trickled down pyramid style. If that makes any sense.

Edit: It does work (so I've heard) so it may not be a scam. but it is a scheme. :)

I don't see anything special about the cards. Could be a case of shill bidder/bidders gone wild. Could be a 2nd or 3rd chance offer coming someone's way LOL

This wasn't the point of this thread, but I never really put that much thought into BigCrumbs. I do know you that if people sign up for it under your name, you literally get pennies, not much at all, from when they buy on eBay. I really can't imagine getting that much from people being referred by you unless you had a lot...I figured I might as well put it in my signature, since I had nothing better to put...

I also know that I've been paid 86$ the last two months from my purchases on eBay. It's just another way to try and negate eBay fees/other overhead costs as a seller in order to more easily make a profit. Between my credit card points, eBay bucks, and BigCrumbs - I get 10-13% back on every purchase.

Oh, and eBay.com and BigCrumbs broke-up, so that relationship is done with. Most people will now stop using Bigcrumbs, but there is a trick. Look up ebay.ca on BigCrumbs and as long as you add all your desired items on eBay to your watch list, you can bid through ebay.ca by clicking "All Lists" on My eBay. ebay.ca gives 36% cash back on the fees paid by the seller.

If anyone knows me, I'm not that weirdo with pipe dreams over schemes, and don't view it as a scheme. I view it as me making money. Before I signed up? Yep, thought it was bull. While I signed up? --- yea, figured it was bull and that there would be a catch before I'd get that money. Then they sent the money to my Paypal, so far so good - though I'm always skeptical!

Alright -back to the thread.

Ralph: I came to that as well, must just be shill bidders...so silly.

Sorry if I sounded like a jerk. It was the only way I could explain what I thought I knew. :o

Haha, no problem at all. I'd say the same thing if I were you.

Yeah, me too

I saw that auction too and couldnt figure it out. I dont really watch t206's but some mine (6) for $60 total and always kinda play w/ the idea of trying to get more...then I see auctions like that and cant figure it out the pricing and stop watching t206's again and refocus on my cracker jack collection.
