Trimmed Cards
 

A friend bought a '51 Bowman Phil Rizzuto that was trimmed for $35.He tells me that the card is worth $75.I told him that it might be worth $25.Other then being trimmed,it is in nice shape....but it's trimmed.It books for $150, but I still don't think it's worth more than $25.I'm trying to get him to let me scan it,show I could post it.My question is what would this card be worth?

To me, a trimmed card really isn't worth more than 10% of book. Therefore, your $25 estimate may even be a bit too high.
