Vintage Card Prices

Do the prices that Vintage Card Prices use from Ebay include shipping?

Thanks,

I'd imagine that shipping plays a factor towards calculating ebay prices. But not much. And mostly due to the trend of overinflated shipping that a lot of sellers have been charging to cheat a bit on ebay fees. Basically, when a seller has $8-10 shipping, bidders will adjust accordingly and essentially bid $5-8 less than they would on an item with a fair shipping price of $2-5, so those instances should be reflected in value.

Personally, I don't know how VCP does it though..

I would use the total price including shipping for ebay and subtract a reasonable(median) shipping rate of say $3(just a guess). So that if a card sells for $30 with $10 shipping, it would reflect as $37. Which is what I would consider the true value that the buyer was willing to pay if the item had a normal shipping rate. At the same time, I'd also apply the same $3 shipping to an item that sold for $40 with free shipping, so that it also reflected as $37.

Shipping Charges

Looks like Vintage Card Prices don't include the shipping cost. I bought a card yesterday and the shipping didn't show on the pricing.

Thanks for the responses.
