Have you guys ever seen an auction result that absolutely floored you? I present to you Early Wynn's 1954 contract:

Obviously, I was interested in this, but only for a while. I have his 1953 contract, signed by the same three HOFers, and I paid $280 for it! (Yes, I know, 1954 is a desirable year, but still!)

That is a lot of money. What price did you think it was gonna go for?

That sure does seem like a lot. I was following the 1923 World Series program. It sold for just under 6,000 with the juice. The other examples I've seen sell went for $1,000-$2,000. This was in nice condition but not worth an extra $4500!
