Vintage jersey identification info.....
Anyone have any knowledge about jersey identification for older 60's or so? As in the sewing on the jerseys to identify seasons etc. Were they sewn set 1 / 1968 for example or differently?....Any info would help. thanks

You'll have to be MUCH more specific in what you're looking for, as the tagging and identifiers differ by year/by team, etc. Your question is far too vague to provide any type of accurate answer.
Please be more specific regarding what you need... |
Sorry, I have seen/located a couple different patch cards on ebay. One with 68 sewn into the jsy and one w/ 4 sewn into the jsy. Its an older wool Twins card. Just trying to identify what the numbers mean and where they went on the jsy. Thanks

Be VERY carefull buying patch cards on ebay. Many are fake. The seller removes the orginal patch from the card buys a new patch that is period correct and inserts them into the card and sells them for bunches of money. Unless it has been graded i would stay away from it. Even then it will depend on which grading company you use to get it correct.

They were all legit. All were donruss prime cuts bgs encased from the product box, not after market. I am very careful and leary of patches myself.
