1953 topps mantle 1953 PSA purchase... some frosting
Hi everyone this is my first post on the site....
I started getting into psa Vintage cards a while back... I bought a 1953 topps psa 5 from a high end dealer on ebay... Would you please take a look at the picture and let me know if this is normal or alarming... http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/g...7/DSC09571.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/g...7/DSC09570.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/g...ngMOWsw0_3.jpg |
That is similar to what my '54 Aaron looked like a few weeks back,
I sent my back for a refund because of the frosting, The dealer sold it again within 48 hours, so some people are not aware. I had frosting on 2 sides and some stress marks, ask yourself - on a card this expensive, who messes with the holder? You have 2 options: 1) send to PSA yourself and ask them to reverify 2) send back for refund Option 1 will cost you money |
I talked to psa and the seller...
the card is being sent into to psa to get reslabed.. Both psa and the seller had the same thing to say spotty frosting is actually a good sign.. if the card was open the whole side would frost... But we will see... |
