1950s baseball hit for a home run by former Chicago Cubs All-Star Jackson Ransom. Actual home run ball. As documented on the accompanying letter, it came from the collection of Cubs bat boy Joe Bauer. The ball shows game use and the point of hit, and comes with the original sock Bauer kept the ball in with Jackson's name and number neatly written on the outside.
