PSA - Date of Grading Unavailable
I have a T206 SHAPPE that is not labeled as such, and my theory is that it was graded before the "error" was recognized.
I didn't see a date listed when using PSA's online cert verification, so I called in, and much to my surprise, they said that they "don't do dating on em'". Is there any way that you know of to find an approximate date? I suppose it's also possible that the person submitting the card was clueless and didn't specify on the form... http://www.t206.org/misc/shappecopy.jpg |
Trae-
I remembered a thread from a year or to ago that showed the different fllips and gave approximate dates. Here is the link to the thread. I have no other information to provide, but hopefully others do. http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...ight=psa+flips Good Luck, Alan |
That is a fairly new flip, you can tell by the 1 being under the PR. Last several years.

Thanks, Alan, and Peter!
Looks like my first theory is easily disproved then. I suppose the latter is more likely since ole' SHAPPE has been recognized for at least 10 years now. Considering sending it back for a relabel, or even crossing it then... |
It hasn't been that long since PSA started keeping track of the backs either-your flip has Piedmont on it so I would say no more than a few years old.
