Ultra-rare Red Polar Bear and Old Mill Backs
 

Ran across this auction listing which included some "tabacco" cards. About half way down the image lists are the T206 reproductions. I don't know about any of the other cards, but would have to assume more of the same.

I'll be attempting to contact the auctioneer to let him/her know about the T206s.

After going through most of the pictures of sports cards, I would say almost EVERYTHING pre-war looks fake to me.

You might want to tell where this auction is located so if any members live close by they can go and look at this stuff up close and in person. Then, when they see it is fake, they can tell the auctioneer about it or warn potential bidders.

The auctioneer responded fairly quickly, but not to my satisfaction:

"All the cards I have listed are sold as is, and thats why there are pictures of the fronts and backs,so that the buyers can decide for them selfs if the are reproductions or not."

The auction is being held in Osseo, Mi and serviced by Scorpion Auctions.

I need that rare Red Old Mill Bender I hope everybody sleeps on it !
