Sorry, thought I had the fronts. Wrong PC here.

Hey Steve,
Now you've got in order: E98, E98, E98, E94 E98, E98, E93, E94 Those E98s are hand cut too. Very strange. E98s are usually found with the traditional cut and back. This guy had lots of tobaccos and several different types of candy cards. I think it's safe to say he was more of a collector or baseball cards than just a smoker/consumer. Fun to see. Keep the scans coming. Rob |
Throw me the picture of the fronts and I'll put together another picture puzzle.
I put another one in the other thread of the E97s where I dimmed out the missing players so you can see what pieces you are missing. Pretty cool. This is fun! I feel like I'm back in my youth in a fishing cottage in Canada with a 1000 piece puzzle. Here's an attempt. The Young doesn't look like it fits anywhere after matching these up. http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/...r/E98Backs.jpg |
Do you know where these came from? My guess is someone close to the printing site for a lot of these caramels. Of course there are image overlaps between E93, E94, and E98 so finding these together would make sense. They look to be handcut from full production sheets. A few years back some partial E93 and E97 sheets were also discovered together along with some blank back hand cut E93s that seem to have been a sheet that the owner just cut up into individual cards. Interesting find. Was there more?

Just found the E97 thread. :)
I also thought I would just throw an image in of my E93 uncut sheets to this discussion. JimB http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/2...tsinframe2.jpg |
Here's a stab
This is all conjecture without an uncut E98 sheet. Kind of hard to be definitive, but here's something that looks OK.
Thoughts? http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/.../E98Puzzle.jpg |
I was thinking Ford above Mack, rather than Coombs.

Couple options
Hey Jim B,
I put the Ford above in one and the Coombs above in the other. I think you are correct. The Ford looks better above. And the Combs next to it. Tell me what you think. http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/...r/e98Vers2.jpg http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/...r/e98Vers3.jpg |
