T206 Gallery iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch App
I'm proud to (finally!) announce the T206 Gallery App:
http://livetocollect.com/t206_gallery/ Thanks in advance to anyone that purchases the app! I don't even expect to break even (50+ hours of code personally + a bit of $ in consultant time), but it was a great learning experience, and I hope some of you enjoy it. I plan to do other vintage card related apps in the future (T206 checklist next perhaps). A free update is coming in the next couple of weeks that will add swipe left/right functionality to the gallery images. If there are enough requests, I could create an Android version too. Leon, this will be my one and only new thread created about the app. Thank you. :) |
Very cool, Trae! I plan on purchasing the app today!

I got mine!
Nice work Trae...i loaded it up as soon as I read your post...
What a treat to scan through hundreds of old baseball cards on a dreary wet saturday afternoon! I am already looking forward to more updates, apps etc from you. T205 is tops on my wishlist, as well as seeing back combinations...perhaps using research done by our N54 pals like Scot and TedZ Now...back to the slideshow!! |
Awesome!!!
Just got it, great work Trae!! Beautifully done!!!
|
I just picked up my first Android (EVO) phone yesterday. First thing I did was load my T206 pictures into a folder. Kids/Dog come next...

Idea for app
Would it be possible to create a checklist by brand and series similar to what Ted put together ? I would love to use this at shows when looking for cards I need.
Got it and it looks great ! Adam |
Nice! Downloading now!

Pretty sweet. Hoping to add the first T206 of my collection in the near future, so I'll probably get the app soon. Thanks!

Many thanks to all of you!
Brian, I am considering doing a similar app for T205. Any other votes for that out there? Adam, that's indeed possible. I'm working on a web version of that right now actually, for the new version of T206.org (long process in spare time, and with some help from Richard A.). Between the Bill Brown's Super Set data and Ted's data, it should come out great. Might be a while yet, but I'll announce it here for sure. Even if it's not an app, ideally you could still use it on your smart phone. |
Thank you to everyone who has purchased the app so far!
Today I submitted a free update that adds swiping left / right functionality to the card pictures in the gallery. Apple should approve it within the next week or so, at which point it will automatically be available. |
Last bump/update from me on this. :)
The update mentioned above, with swipe functionality, is live in the app store now. "New & Improved" (my wife hates that one, says it can't be both) "Now 50% More Interactive!" "Financing is Available!" Thank you again to everyone that has purchased the app! Development of a T205 version is underway. |
