Babe Ruth Pencil?
 
I saw this on the bay and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them?

To me it looks like it depicts Ruth from his M101 card and even has a red sock to boot. Are these fantasy pieces or is it actually something that was made in the 40's or 50's?
