Psa/dna certified - question
I am about to render a "best offer" on a slabed card. The slab indicates - PSA/DNA certified. Also, Authentic, Auto then the slab ##!
What does PSA/DNA certified mean? And does the Auhentic related to the Autograph? And the slab has no grade #. Can you tell some how the grade of the card? Is PSA/DNA the same as the grading company PSA? Does the Authentic relate to only the autograph, or the grade of the card just being graded - AUTHENTIC? Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me. This is my first Autographed slab. rgprgp8618@comcast.net |
This is the BST section. You might want to ask this in the memorabilia forum. You'll get a lot more information there. I'm not an autograph guy, so I can't be of help otherwise. Best of luck!

The PSA/DNA certified is indicating the autograph is authentic, if it wasn't they wouldn't have slabbed it. The 'Authentic' is the grade given to the card, sometimes you will see PSA/DNA certified and then a numerical grade; but often when the card has been altered they will certify it as simply authentic.
And yes, PSA and PSA/DNA are basically one in the same. |
